The new National Centre in Milton Keynes is a key element in National Rail’s strategy for delivering a railway fit for the 21st century. The £100million scheme demanded the manufacture and supply of bespoke metal cladding to the value of approximately £200,000.
The main Atrium area required a complex design to incorporate the aesthetic features specified whilst maintaining a concealed fixing.
Clad with bespoke atrium panels which offer both an acoustic and light reflective solution, the four buildings benefit from natural light flooding through the central lobby.
Completed in June 2012 the building achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.
